Coping with pet loss can be a critical time for pet owners. Pets are considered valuable members of the family, so their death inspires a sense of heart breaking grief and sorrow. There are several ways by which this grief can be encountered. Setting up pet memorials is one way of compensating the grief caused by pet loss. Pet memorials can go a long way to give peace to the grieving heart of the pet owner who has lost a dear pet. Setting up online pet memorials is easy, one just have to have the heart to understand the companionship of a pet and the feelings which the pet owner has to feel at a pet loss. Atlanta based pet crematory agency Paws, Whiskers and Wags  (PWW)has also set up an online pet memorial service for those pet owners who want to immortalize the memory of their favorite pet.

Planning a Memorable Service for Your PetPlanning a memorial service for your pet allows others, whose lives were touched by your pet, a chance to say good-bye.  After all, pets play an important role your life as well as those around you.  Never underestimate the effect that your pet’s wagging tail or puppy kisses had on others.  Because the loss of a pet is an emotional time, many people find that a memorial service provides some comfort and a sense of closure.

When I lost Skipper, my ten year old Golden Retriever of ten years, I knew that I had to do something special for him. Skipper was a very special dog who brought joy to the lives of hundreds of people. For many, many years, Skipper was a therapy dog. Together, Skipper and I made innumerable trips to nursing homes and hospitals.

Skipper had a certain way of seeking out those who needed his company most, usually those who were chronically ill. Skipper was so gentle loving; he even made the staff members at the homes and hospitals smile when he pranced down the hall.
